Hi. I know its free and all and you probably do not give anything about an anonymous comment, but what is happening to the magic tabern? That was the(in my opinion) worst episode yet. And i even liked the one with the weird merchant that sold you all that useless crap. Sorry…

Great episode. Love the riddles, music and movie references, and it’s always great when Tusidore pops in. It’s also great when you leave the tavern table and go adventuring, in this case into the tavern basement in search of magical weapons! Will be giving this episode a few more listens. Bing Bong, Bing Bong!

Alright, on second thought it’s probably me not geting all the references. And yes i did spell it wrong. But in no way did i try to dictate anything. I even bothered to write “in my opinion”…didn’t help obviously.

I feel maybe John Doe listened to a different podcast, (perhaps hello from the magic tabern) because I felt this episode completely kept with the feel, expected of this podcast. Jokes that push the line of being extremely inappropriate and crude, but are delivered so nonchalantly, because of the difference in cultural norms established between our own world and that of Foon.

Also, if you liked the episode with the Kobold, why do you use it as a reference to what dictates the line for a worst episode? It’s like saying that this was the worst because it was the only one that you didn’t like.

I thought this was a great episode, and felt that hello from the magic tavern may have dipped partway through season 1, but are going strong in season 2.

Yeah something is missing. There is far too much emphasis on your least capable feature- remembering and re-incorporating details. You’re way too inconsistent (as a group) to pull this off. You are much better at retort than report.
Also, work on your impressions, all of you. Just use your tongue differently.
Arnie – your wizard is whispering in pain at the end of diarrhea
Matt – Your basement hobo is Usidore talking while looking up.
Adal – Your wizard is just you high.
Please wrap up this stumbling arc or make more impactful things happen.

Oof, rough episode…rough couple weeks actually. With the exception of Sit in a Circle, there hasn’t been a good/great episode since the Twins episode. Season 2 got off to a pretty good start, but you really need to get back to key characters / quality guests who can actually act and actually know about the world of Foon, and who also move the darn plot along!
